Over the board I played 13/5 (a bit mindlessly): big mistake! According to GNUbg, every move is a blunder bar 24/14 (not even 24/18 13/11).
I haven't been play that much (less than a year): can you help me analysing this position correctly and avoiding the same mistake in the future?

I probaly would have played 13/11,24/28. You have to get your back checkers going.
I Feed BGBlitz and it agrees, everything but 24/16 is a mega blunder. I assume
- when you play my play, 13/7 slots the blocking point AND hits
- the 4 is duplicated (hit or cover? not easy)
- hitting with the 1 the 16 checker is a thread to the checkers
Here you can see that only with some 4-rolls 24/18,13/11 is better:
