Hey guys, come on. I expected some sort of championship events but to my surprise no one has posted any here. It stuns me. Kindly post the details in case of any events.

Are there an tournaments that a newbie can get involved in?? I would not mind getting my feet wet - even if I lose a few - it can only make me a better player.....

I too am waiting to see what we can find out. But since no one else seems to know I am have to do some research and then come on over and post them in here for all to see.

Yeah, I wonder what tournaments are available for newbies specifically. I definitely don't wnat to be playing and learning at the same time and be playing against a "professional" backgammon player.

It's hard to say WHERE a tournament would appeal to those on this site - there is no telling where people are from. At our club we are ready to stage a tournament at any time. We have two locations, both on Danforth Ave in downtown Toronto. Anyone coming this way on a weekend or longer will have at least one tournament available - just post here or email me at vladdobrich@yahoo.ca
