Why do you like backgammon? Is it just a fun past time for you or do you like competing against other people? What makes it better than the other games that have been around for a long time.

Well for me it is about using my mind to make decisions. I know it may not seem like it requires a lot of thought but the game is not for everyday people. It takes a certain mindset to play this game.

I love gambling. Now, I don't mean playing a pay cheque at the horse races, I mean I like to play games of skill/chance that are profitable. I just really like the feeling of it.

Plus, competition, exercising your memory and patience, working on a skill, having a pass time... all of those things play a big part as well.

I took to this game as soon as I started playing
